About Mr. Trae Heeter – Mr. Trae Heeter is an Assistant Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships at the NCAA. Mr. Heeter oversees Region I of the outreach model recently implemented by the Eligibility Center. In his role, he assists communities in NYC, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Maryland to better inform student-athletes of the initial eligibility requirements. He also works closely with members of the enforcement team to share and gather information pertaining to impactful schools and student-athletes. Mr. Heeter has been with the NCAA for a little over two years and will be discussing the COVID-19 Automatic Waiver and adjustments that have been made for the 2020-2021 school year.
